MC&MCA and NCMA’s Direct Design Software Seminar

Register for our virtual seminar highlighting NCMA’s state of the art Masonry Design Software on Thursday, November 5th from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Email Mark at mseverson@mcmca.com to register. With Direct Design Software v3.1, a complete masonry building can be designed in a matter of minutes. Building designs are compliant with most recent building codes (2015 International Building Code), and the software has been recently updated to interface with AutoDesk Revit.
Capabilities include: • Design up to 60 ft tall buildings • ANY code-permitted specified compressive strength of masonry • Use CMU from 6-inch to 14-inch width • ANY mortar type permitted by code • Steel reinforcement from No. 4 to No. 9 • Both flexible or rigid floor or roof systems • Set design targets and the software will optimize the design New for v3.1—Import models from Revit and export structural details back. This new feature can simplify modeling and speed up workflows!
Our seminar will be given by Jason Thompson, who is the Vice President of Engineering with the National Concrete Masonry Association. Jason has been instrumental in the development of both the Direct Design Method and this software, and has over 25 years of experience in concrete masonry design and construction.
