Collective Bargaining Agreements with the Bricklayers Local #1, Cement Mason Local #633, Laborers Local #563, Operators Local #49, and the Carpenters have been reached and went into effect on May 1. Changes include wage rates and language changes. MC&MCA has provided our member contractors a to-be-bound form which we encourage them to use to become signatory to the labors they use in their building efforts. Being signatory through a trade association like the MC&MCA limits a contractor’s personal liability regarding fringe funds obligations. It is a major benefit to membership. Special thanks to our Negotiations team members led by Mike Hart of American Masonry Restoration and Jim Turitto of Bulach Custom Rock. If you have any questions about specific numbers, language, or to-be-bound forms, please email MC&MCA Executive Director Gary Botzek.
